Sample Introduction for Presenters
Eddie Osterland has a unique background. Educated at the University of Bordeaux, France he received a degree in professional wine-tasting, and went on to London to attempt the highest distinction in the wine trade, that of Master Sommelier. Eddie passed the rigorous examination and become the first of the current 47 Master Sommeliers in the U.S. today.

As seen on numerous cruise ships around the world, let's meet "Your Personal Wine Coach"-- Eddie Osterland!

Selling Eddie: What's in it for YOUR Clients? Three main things:

FUN...he tells many entertaining stories about people's taste (or the lack thereof!) With Eddie "uncorked", you get a glimpse of what 33 years as a professional taster has revealed for him. These stories are made for repeating at your dinner parties or restaurants.
EDUCATIONAL...the French take their food and wine seriously and Eddie received his degree in professional wine tasting from the prestigious University of Bordeaux. He will absolutely change the way your audience thinks about wine and food, without the usual "snob attitude" that many other wine connoisseurs present.
PRACTICAL...Your attendees will return home with totally new Entertaining Strategies for food and wine for use at home or on the road. Eddie has great "take-home" value. He is a "lifestyle motivator", showing executives and session attendees how to add value to lifeÕs simple pleasures of wine and food, whether for personal enjoyment or for entertaining.

Benefits to Your Client
Typical Results You Can Expect From Eddie Osterland's Programs:

You Save. The very next day your executives will be spending less money when entertaining clients, thanks to Eddie's new Executive Entertaining Strategies.

How? Their "comfort zone" will be expanded so as to explore the lesser known/equally good wines of the world that cost half as much.

Eddie will EDUCATE them by showing them how to be better buyers (Learn a new set of ABC's: Anything but Chardonnay, anything but Cabernet!)

Eddie will ENLIGHTEN them regarding how to choose "food-wines" (those that are more appropriate with food) and that will certainly heighten their dining experiences.

"And regardless of the economy, (Zraly says) wine will always be a key part of any business person's life." - Los Angeles Times "Wine Coach" April 24, 2001

Your executives will enjoy a heightened "self-esteem" thanks to their newly learned abilities to discuss wine and food at a much more sophisticated level. No longer will they let the restaurant experience happen to them, but rather they will take charge of it.

And don't forget about the FUN thy will have just learning about it. Eddie "uncorked" adds an all important component of levity to your meeting.

Special Benefits for Meeting Planners:
Let Eddie save you money by choosing wines to suit your dinner budget. He can even help you order special wines for your event at special prices, and help you select menu items to complement.

Audiences everywhere know him as funny, approachable and non-intimidating. He gives them knowledge and skills they need to enjoy wine, and gives then confidence to entertain impressively.

"Eddie Osterland shows people how to gain access to 'special things' without breaking the bank...he is a lifestyle motivator" - John Davis, program attendee top
